LIGHTING ACADEMIC PROJECT-Headquarter V, Stuttgart, Germany

Location : Stuttgart, Germany
Type of project : Lighting design(A group-working project)
Responsibility : Lighting design, Presentation, Lighting calculation, Lighting specification
Main idea&concept :
Fusion
Fusion is the process that powers the sun and the stars. It is the reaction in which two atoms combine together. In our concept, fusion is the principle of dynamic lighting where warm white light (3000K) and daylightwhite light (5600 K) together are applied in lighting scenarios to provide relaxation or even stimulation of the space users. Fusion is a mixture, a blend of two light elements together to optimize the input of a space by its users.
Infusion
Infusion Simply put, infusion is a blend of cold and hot, an individual dose of different temperatures to provide a dynamic ambience. As a principle it is similar to fusion but it affects the space with two separate light elements; whereas fusion combines them. This versatility enables the users of the space to adapt to the flexible lighting concepts and provides them a light communication subconsciously through the signals of daylight white and warm white light temperatures.

Diffusion
Diffusion In lighting terms, diffusion is the transmission of light through a translucent material. the scattering of incident light by reflection from a rough surface. But in our concept it is perceived in terms of physics which means spontaneous intermingling of particles of two or more as a result of random thermal motion. In the cultural aspect, diffusion is the transmission of elements or features of one culture to another. In this principle, diffusion is the state of equilibrium of artificial light and daylight, whereas the daylight is not sufficient the artificial lighting levels will adjust to correspond to the needs of the space and enable its users to tailor it to its preferences and their natural rhythm of activity and enhance their well-being.
